Final, Free-Choice Project Reflection: May 30, 2013.
1. My final project was a cup with a handle on it. I used to wheel to make this. I used class time, and I also came in about 4 or 5 study halls.
2. I think the good part of my project is the glaze. The green glaze on it ended up looking really cool.
3. I could have done a better job with smoothing it out because it is not very smooth.
4. I am using my project as a cup to hold water. I enjoy drinking water.
5. The important elements are form and color. I chose form because it is 3-D and I added a handle. I chose color because the bright green really makes a statement.
6. The important principles are balance and rhythm. I chose balance because for the most part it is bilateral. I chose rhythm because there are lots of speckles on it.
7. I learned that you should take your time on projects because it will be worth it in the end.
8. First, I just started wedging red clay and threw it on the wheel. I randomly made something and put a handle on it. I glazed it a nice green color.
9. My project was completely by chance. I just kind of threw something on the wheel and it ended up turning out cool. I didn't really have any challenges.
10. Personally, I didn't really like this project. I felt rushed and stressed out. It would have been a lot better if we could have completely chosen our own project. I don't really have any plans for art.
